 2012 will herald the 14th Tangowahine School Monster trail ride. The trail has grown becoming a 'must do' for riders. attracting between 550 - 650 riders annually

Tangowahine school is a small rural primary with 45 students. The proceeds from the monster trail are well utilised by the school.

In 2010 the senior school was able to have 4 days learning to ski on Mt Hutt & a Day in Christchurch. This brilliant trip was enjoyed by all, especially considering some of the students had not been any further south than Auckland & was the first time they had seen snow.

Other projects completed this year with Trail-ride funds was a Sun-Shade over the ever popular Sandpit, rebuilding of the Flying fox & a new concrete court.In 2011 we will be looking to updating some of our ageing IT equipment.
